When you plan to sue, there is a requirement to inform the other party of your intent to make a claim and then begin the process by issuing a “Statement of Claim” document.  These time limits are different depending on how you were injured, where you were injured and who caused the injury.  It can be as little as 10 days so it is very important to talk to a lawyer immediately after you have been injured so that you do not miss your opportunity to receive compensation.

This is a special payment arrangement that may be offered in some Personal Injury situations.   You pay no legal fees until your case settles!  The fee for the lawyer is a percentage of the settlement.
